Every year, Palawan folks celebrate their province’s civil foundation via bright-colored costumes and festive music. Dubbed “Baragatan Festival,” this event brings together locals from all towns of Palawan. Former governor Joel Reyes said the festival not only showcases the diverse culture of Palawan folks through ostentatious parades, but also exhibits each municipality’s products. Now on its 10th year, Baragatan Festival has become a popular tourist-drawer.
